Thank you, rusty_armour! I thought you might like the Baphomet cards. :-D
I absolutely love them! Both versions are fabulous! :-D
I am glad you like the Wheel of Fortune cards too. I also used the image of burning Guy, unfortunately it is pretty poor quality. (Herne also had to heal Guy by turning Rhiannon's wheel, at least I think so.).
That's a shame about the image of Guy burning. However, I think the choices you made were perfect.
I used to assume that when Herne made the Wheel turn, Gisburne was saved because certain events were erased and/or Herne set the clock back. However, from what I've heard, Ian Sharp had fully intended to kill Gisburne off at the end of the first series. He didn't realize that Richard Carpenter wanted to keep him around. Ergo, I think Gisburne was supposed to die, and there was no plan to save him. In my head canon, Gisburne survives because the Wheel turns, events change, etc. How else could Gisburne have survived all that?
Yes, something must have happened, rusty_armour. I remember how unhappy I was because I thought Guy died because he couldn't survive the injuries. The next part was "The Swords ofWayland", Guy wasn't there and then I was surprised when he was in "Prophecy". In the Czech version, Herne says "The wheel of life continues to spin", so I thought it must have had an effect on Guy (in order to maintain a balance between the forces of light and darkness?). It wasn't until years later that I learned the information about Ian Sharp and Richard Carpenter. I think that Azina Zelle wrote fanfiction on thi topic.
As I told you, I still haven't dealt with Loxley's death. In our country, they did not broadcast the third series, I saw it for the first time sometime after 2006. So for me, it was just AU, where Robin's death never happened and I could make up my own stories. I didn't even know Guy was a bastard, so I came up with another backstory for him. I just never wrote those stories, I just played them in my head.
