Having met (and been photographed with) Philip Jackson at the Con, I am now madly in love with Abbot Hugo. So thank you for drawing my attention to this hitherto-unknown part of the Abbot's career.
Well, abbot Hugo could theoretically visits Bílina because the first written mention of the settlement dates back to 993. :-) (Nice idea for fanfic and you are right, it surely involved money)
